1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Savitar: the Discord bot, the web dashboard, the public profile and server store pages, and related services (together, “Savitar” or the “Service”).
By adding the bot to a server, signing in to the dashboard with Discord, creating a public profile, buying Savitar Premium or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service and, if you manage a server, remove the bot.
Savitar is developed and operated by its independent developer (“we”, “us”). Contact details are in the “Contact” section at the end of this page.
2. What Savitar is
Savitar provides tools for Discord communities, including moderation and logs, support tickets, member verification, welcome and goodbye messages, levels and XP, a virtual economy and store, giveaways, games, reaction roles, invite tracking, anti-raid, scheduled messages, statistics, and public profiles for people and servers.
Some features are free and some are exclusive to the Savitar Premium plan (section 9). We may add, change, limit or remove features at any time (section 11).
3. Who can use the Service
You must be at least the minimum age required by Discord’s Terms of Service to have an account (13, or higher depending on your country). If you are under 18, you may only buy Premium or manage a server with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
If you use the Service on behalf of a community, you confirm you have the authority to do so (for example, you own the server or have the Administrator or Manage Server permission).
You must also comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you have been banned from Discord or from the Service, you may not use it.
4. Account and dashboard access
Dashboard access is only through Discord sign-in (OAuth2). You are responsible for activity in your session and for keeping your Discord account secure. We never ask for your Discord password.
Each server is managed by its owner and by anyone the owner authorizes (Administrator or Moderator access in the dashboard). The server owner is responsible for who receives access and can remove it at any time.
Savitar team members may access server panels only for support, maintenance, security and enforcement of these terms. Those actions are logged.
5. Responsibilities of server administrators
Whoever configures Savitar in a server decides which features are on and how members’ data is used. Administrators are therefore responsible for:
- granting the bot only the permissions it needs and reviewing settings before enabling them;
- informing members about features that process data (for example message logs, tickets and transcripts, verification, levels and public rankings, the server’s public profile);
- complying with applicable laws (data protection, consumer law, giveaways, promotions and games) and Discord’s terms;
- honoring what they promise in giveaways, prizes, store items, roles and perks — Savitar is only the tool;
- keeping the server’s public profile and store information truthful and lawful.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Savitar to:
- violate Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines or developer policies;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against, expose or harm people, or collect data unlawfully or abusively (including scraping profiles);
- send spam, scams, phishing, malware, illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or anything that infringes third-party rights;
- attempt to access areas, accounts or data without authorization; bypass limits, permissions, verification or Premium; exploit flaws instead of reporting them;
- overload, interfere with or reverse engineer the Service in a way that harms its operation or security;
- resell, sublicense or use the Service to build a competing product with our code or data;
- manipulate the economy, levels, games or store with fake accounts, automation or bugs to gain an advantage.
Violations may lead to warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, blocking of servers or accounts and, where appropriate, reporting to authorities and to Discord.
7. Content and public profiles
You keep ownership of the content you create or send to the Service (texts, linked images, messages, settings, profiles and store items). To operate the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display and send that content through the bot and the website, solely to provide the Service.
Public profiles of people and servers, store pages and rankings chosen by administrators can be seen by anyone with the link. Publish only what you are comfortable making public. You can disable your profile at any time in settings.
You confirm you have the necessary rights to what you publish and you are solely responsible for it. We may remove or hide content that violates these terms, the law or third-party rights.
The “Verified” badge is granted by the Savitar team at its discretion and is not a guarantee, certification or endorsement of any kind.
8. Virtual economy, store, levels, games and giveaways
Coins, balances, items, levels, XP, medals and other economy, store and game elements are virtual, exist only inside the server where they were earned, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money through Savitar, and may be changed, reset or removed by administrators or by changes to the Service.
Purchases in a server’s store use only that server’s virtual currency. Each server defines its own items, prices, rules and deliveries and is responsible for them. Store items that grant roles may depend on the bot’s permissions in the server.
Giveaways are run by server administrators. Neither Savitar nor Discord sponsors, endorses or administers them; whoever runs a giveaway is solely responsible for the prizes and for complying with the rules and applicable laws.
10. Announcements from Savitar
We may send announcements about the Service (news, maintenance, changes to these terms or to the Privacy Policy, security notices and other important information) through the bot to a public channel of the servers where the bot is present. Announcements may be sent silently and, for important cases, mention @everyone or @here.
11. Availability, changes, suspension and bot removal
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may perform maintenance and update, limit, change or end features, including for security, legal reasons or changes to Discord’s API or policies. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may suspend or terminate access for servers or accounts that violate these terms, put people or the Service at risk, or abuse resources, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
If the bot is removed from a server (for any reason), that server’s settings and data are kept for 48 hours. If the bot returns within that period, everything continues as it was. After that, the server’s data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered (see the Privacy Policy).
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or loss of data, members or reputation arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service; for actions of server administrators and members; for third-party content; for failures of Discord, InfinitePay or other third-party services; or for incorrect configuration.
Moderation and security tools (such as anti-raid, verification and filters) reduce risk but do not eliminate it; administrators remain responsible for moderating their communities.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law, including consumer rights.
13. Third-party services
Savitar runs on Discord and depends on it; your use of Discord is governed by Discord’s own terms and policies. Premium payments are processed by InfinitePay, subject to its terms. Links, images and content hosted by third parties are the responsibility of whoever publishes them. Savitar is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Discord Inc.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. The last-updated date is at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated on the website, in the dashboard or through a bot announcement. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new version.
15. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence remain available to you. Otherwise, the courts of the developer’s place of residence are chosen, waiving any other.
